PPC CASE STUDY: LEADING SEO, PAID, AND SOCIAL CAMPAIGNS AS MARKETING DIRECTOR
CreativeBlox USA is a marketing agency running SEO, PPC, and social campaigns for clients. As Marketing Director, my role emphasized paid media and social campaign performance more than organic search specifically — worth stating upfront, since it shapes how to read the SEO numbers below honestly rather than overstating an organic growth story that isn't what this engagement was primarily about.
Keyword work in service of paid campaigns. I developed keyword strategy primarily to support paid landing pages and conversion-focused content rather than as a dedicated organic growth initiative, since paid and social were the channels the role and the agency's growth model were built around during this period.
Cross-team creative alignment. I worked closely with the creative and content teams to keep messaging consistent across SEO, PPC, and social, so that a visitor encountering the brand through any channel got a coherent message rather than disjointed campaigns running independently of each other.
Foundational authority-building. Backlink and domain authority work was done as foundational brand-building rather than an aggressive organic acquisition play, since organic search wasn't the primary lead-generation channel this role was accountable for — the work was more about supporting overall brand credibility than driving a specific traffic target.
Honest scope framing. Rather than retrofitting a stronger SEO narrative onto this engagement than the data supports, this case study intentionally represents the role as it actually was: primarily a paid-and-social leadership position with SEO as a supporting function.
The site's organic footprint is modest — 24 organic keywords and roughly 2 organic visits per month — but a domain authority of 21 and 1,921 backlinks show real foundational authority-building work happened alongside the paid and social work that was the actual focus of the role. This is the one case study on the site where the strongest results lived in channels other than organic search, and it's included for a complete, honest picture of the role rather than to overstate SEO impact where PPC and social were doing the heavier lifting throughout the engagement.
